"I POSSESS THE INTRINSIC WISDOM AND INTELLECT TO BUILD ORGANIZATIONS, PRODUCTS, TOOLS, AND RESOURCES THAT ARE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS AND DESIRES OF MY COMMUNITY.
I SUPPORT BLACK PEOPLE WHO DO THIS."

WHO IS BRITTANY JANAY?
A Black woman and mother. A truth-teller and justice advocate. The Creator of Liberated Love Notes: Critical Self-Reflections and Affirmations For The Culture. I create content and resources, and facilitate spaces that support Black folks with showing up in the fullest expression of ourselves--because, we deserve. I speak. I write. I wonder. I reimagine.
HOW I'M CHANGING THE WORLD
"The "Wisdom Knot," pictured in my logo, is a revered symbol of the Akan. Put simply, we possess the intrinsic wisdom, ingenuity, knowledge and lived experiences to solve for practical problems and reimagine our world (whatever that looks like for you). It ain’t a matter of seeking anything, anymore than it is REMEMBERING what’s already there. I write and speak on topics that affirm our experiences and offer practices that support greater self-love, self-understanding and community building.
LIBERATED LOVE NOTES™
Thriving while Black in systems designed for whiteness is hard. We must have a strong foundation supporting our sense of self, and we must engage in ongoing calibration, healing, and community care. Liberated Love Notes™ is a starting point for integrating self and community affirmations into your daily practices.

USING MY VOICE
Every now and then, I put my reflections to paper … via my blog. I use my voice and platform to amplify Black experiences and encourage dialogue around identity, self-love, cultural self-understanding, liberation, and reimagining our world.
SHOP BRITTANY JANAY
Sometimes I turn my thoughts and reflections into ‘things.’ More than just apparel, my shop is another extension of my mission to foster greater self-understanding. Each item has a story and is connected back to my thoughts and reflections on this world and our liberation.
I believe there is power in the collective. If you’re interested in partnering in some capacity, please complete this form:
1.Showing up as the fullest expression of oneself, uninterrupted. (Keilah Jacques).
2.Black people’s inherent right to make our own decisions, build our own communities, affirm our identities and experiences, heal, and reimagine a world beyond whiteness.
